Found this guitar in the recycling centre in Rugby a couple of weeks back and have been wishing I’d bought it ever since. Love that random Knight / Dragon painting on there!

As I think I’ve mentioned here a few times I’m not much of a photographer but I’ve added a bunch of quite drunken artistically blurry shots of Twin Pines Mall’s recent set at Trondheim Calling.

Having owned it for nearly four years now, I finally got round to mastering a few chords on the Ukelele. This made me very happy. 

Our friends Mylittlepony have lost a member and got a new name. The newly four piece ‘Making Marks’ are apparently writing new songs now and will be hitting the road in Italy shortly…

A little thing I’ve been experimenting with; after spending a long time messing around with chords and third rate lyrics I put the guitar to one side and worked on these two tracks. 

They are both kind of ambient and droney - at the risk of sounding like a pretentious dick, both of them were more an experiment with sound than an actual “song” per se. Interestingly both are worked up from kind of field recordings recorded at Solvor Vermeers house early on a Sunday morning as me and Oli (The 405) were rounding up a mini press trip. We recorded BBC radio idents while she played the piano.
